Brought to mind Paul Simon’s “Train in the distance”…
It is lovely Chris, and might just be a fantasy of many …. I know it’s been one of mine. In a sensual way, almost reminiscent of our first floating months as we are carried swaying along until the “tightening” contractions of birthing. So many layers….Wonderful piece!
Thanks Jana. This was fun to write and took some surprising turns along the way. It was inspired by a dream… well the first couple of lines in any case. 🙂

Great compliment to the poem (image and song)… and a song I’ve actually never heard… or don’t remember. Thanks!
